TOWN OF WESTON
BOARD OF REVIEW MINUTES
TUESDAY, AUGUST 17, 2010
1. CALL TO ORDER
Supervisor Walter John Chilsen called the Board of Review to order at 4:00 pm. Supervisors present were Arnie Baumann, Walter John Chilsen, and Robert Wesenick. Assessor Gregory Schmidt and Clerk/Treasurer Joan Erdman were also present. Absent were Tom Salzman and Chairman Olson (excused).
2. SWEARING IN OF ASSESSOR
Clerk Erdman swore in the Town Assessor, Greg Schmidt.

5. REVIEW ASSESSMENT ROLL
Assessor Schmidt noted that no property owners stopped by during the Open Book Session. Schmidt reviewed with the Board the changes to the property parcels in the Town. The total residential property value is $45,476,800; Commercial value is $931,400; Agricultural value is $245,300; Undeveloped, $97,400; Productive forest lands, $4,146,400; other value, $2,063,500; Agricultural forest, $1,061,900. The total real estate assessed value is $54,022,700, an increase of $926,100 from 2009. (An increase of 1.71 %.) Personal property assessed value is $548,550, an increase of $517,590 from 2009 (an increase of 94.35%). The total assessment value of the Town is $54,571,250.
