TOWN OF WESTON BOARD MINUTES
February 16, 2010
1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/CALL TO ORDER: Supervisor Walter John Chilsen called the February 16, 2010 Town of Weston Board meeting to order at 6:33 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisors present: Arnie Baumann, Robert Wesenick, Tom Salzman, Walter John Chilsen. Also present were Clerk/Treasurer Joan Erdman, Fire Chief Steve Meilahn and Deputy Chief Ed Kline. Absent was Chairman Milt Olson.
2. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS TOWN MEETINGS
Town Board Meeting – January 19, 2010: Salzman/Baumann M/S to approve the minutes of the January 19, 2010 Town of Weston Board meeting. Q/C.

4. VISITORS
5. POLICE REPORT: The EMPD report for January was distributed to Supervisors. A copy of the report will be included with the official minutes.
6. FIRE REPORT (Chief Meilahn): The statistical report for January was distributed and will be included with the official minutes. There was one EMS call to the Town in January.
7. NEW BUSINESS
a. Vouchers 3595-3620: Wesenick/Baumann M/S to approve vouchers 3595-3620. Q/C.
b. Wausau City Square--400 Block Fundraising Request. A request was received for a $1,000 contribution to the 400 block fundraising campaign. Parkland Dedication fees cannot be used for this purpose as the fees need to be used for parks located in the Town. Funds could possibly come from Chairman’s expense. No motion was made to donate to the 400 block.
8. COMMITTEE REPORTS
a. Public Works (Arnie Baumann): Supervisor Baumann talked with Pete Erdman regarding cutting the trees on the corner of Gusman & Kramer. A response from Wis. Public Service has not been received yet regarding moving the power pole on Skrzypchak Lane.
b. Public Safety (Robert Wesenick): Supervisor Wesenick reported that the pole for the new weather siren has been set at the site.
c. Parks Committee: No report.
9. CLERK’S REPORT: Clerk Erdman reported that the she and Supervisor Chilsen will be attending the Wisconsin Towns Association meeting February 27th in Stevens Point. The County has requested a copy of our subdivision ordinance. The Town will need to adopt a subdivision ordinance.
10. SUPERVISOR’S REPORTS
a. Baumann: No report.
b. Wesenick: Supervisor Wesenick reported that he is interested in attending WisLine Board of Review training.
c. Chilsen: No report
d. Salzman: No report:
11. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT: Supervisor Chilsen reported on the February 11, 2010 EMPD Joint Finance Committee Meeting.
12. ADJOURN Salzman/Baumann M/S to adjourn the February 16, 2010 Town of Weston Board meeting at 7:16 pm. Q/C
