TOWN OF WESTON
SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
June 22, 2010
1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Milton Olson called the Special Board Meeting to order at 6:34 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisors present: Arnie Baumann, Walter John Chilsen, and Robert Wesenick. Also present were Clerk/Treasurer Joan Erdman, Mark Thompson and Don Yaggie of Fahrner Asphalt. Supervisor Tom Salzman was absent.
2. DISCUSS AND AWARD BIDS FOR CRACK FILLING TOWN ROADS: Two bids were received for the crack filling: Long Asphalt Maintenance Co. in the amount of $5,795.79 and Fahrner Asphalt Sealers in the amount of $6,273.75. Baumann/Wesenick M/S to award the crack filling bid to FahrnerAsphalt Sealers in the amount of $6,273.75 due to their reputation and the small difference in quotes. Baumann, Wesenick voted in favor of the motion, Chilsen against. Motion carried.
3. ADJOURN: Chilsen/Wesenick M/S to adjourn the Special Town of Weston Board meeting at 6:45 pm. Q/C.
