Town of Weston Planning Commission Minutes
May 4, 2010
1) Call to Order
Chairman Milton Olson called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm. Members present were: Rita Kasten, Randy Christiansen, Tom Salzman, and Mark Thompson. Also present was Clerk/Treasurer Joan Erdman.
2) Approve Minutes
January 5, 2010 Planning Commission Meeting: Kasten/Christiansen M/S to approve the minutes of the January 5, 2010 Planning Commission Meeting. Q/C

4) Old Business: None
5) New Business
a) Subdivision Ordinance
The County has requested a copy of our subdivision ordinance. The Town had begun to develop an ordinance around 2001; however, it was never adopted. Chairman Olson obtained a copy of the Village of Weston’s subdivision ordinance. Plan commission members reviewed the ordinance and made revisions pertinent to the Town. Chairman Olson will check with Jennifer Higgins to see if the code and statute references are necessary. In reference to Sec. 74.123(d)(2), Olson will check with Shane to see if this is ok. In reference to Sec. 74.127(e) Street Grades, Olson will check with J. Higgins for an explanation. The revised ordinance will be taken to the Plan Commission next month for final review and approval. It will be taken to the Town Board in June with a Public Hearing possibly in July.
