TOWN OF WESTON PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING MINUTES
November 23, 2010
1. Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance:
Chairman Milt Olson called the meeting to order at 6:32 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisors present: Arnie Baumann, Walter John Chilsen, Tom Salzman, and Robert Wesenick. Also present was Clerk/Treasurer Joan Erdman.
2. Presentation of the 2011 Budget
Chairman Olson presented and reviewed the proposed 2011 Town of Weston budget, noting that the mill rate for the Town will be .45399 per thousand dollars of assessed value. No further discussion.
3. Adjourn to Special Town Meeting of the Electors

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS MINUTES
November 23, 2010
1. Call to Order
Chairman Olson called the meeting to order at 6:36 pm.
2. Approve the total 2011 Highway Expenditures Pursuant to SEC. 81.01(3) of Wisconsin Statutes
Chilsen/Wesenick M/S to approve the 2011 highway expenditures in the amount of $158,300. Q/C
3. To establish the compensation of the elected town officials for the terms of office to begin in April, 2011 pursuant to Sec. 60.32 of Wis. Statutes
The proposed budgeted compensation for Town officials elected for the terms of office beginning in April of 2011 has been increased from $2,441.50 to $2,685.65 for Town Supervisors; from $5,800 to $6,200 for the Town Chairman; and from $10,800 to $11,200 for the Clerk/Treasurer. Wesenick/Salzman M/S to set the wages for Town elected officials for the terms of office beginning in April of 2011 at $2,685.65 for supervisors, $6,200 for Town Chairman and $11,200 for Clerk/Treasurer. 4. Adopt the 2010 Tax Levy to be paid in 2011 Pursuant to SEC. 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes
Salzman/Chilsen M/S to set the 2011 mill rate for the Town at .454 per thousand dollars of assessed value. Q/C
5. Adjourn to Special Town Meeting
Wesenick/Salzman M/S to adjourn the November 23, 2010 Special Town Meeting of the Electors at 6:44 pm. Q/C
