TOWN OF WESTON PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
September 1, 2009
1) Call to Order
Chairman Milton Olson called the meeting to order at 7:06 pm. Members present were: D.J. Freeman, Rita Kasten, Mark Thompson. Member Randy Christiansen was present but excused as a voting member from this meeting. Also present were Clerk/Treasurer Joan Erdman, and three visitors.
2) Approve Minutes
May 5, 2009 Planning Commission Meeting: Rita Kasten/D. J. Freeman M/S to approve the minutes of the May 5, 2009 Planning Commission meeting. Q/C

5) New Business CSM TW 09-02: The Christiansen’s would like to split 1 acre off of the original parcel in order to separate it from the rest of the property which is continuous with the pit. This would allow them to exclude this property in the bonding of their pit. The location of the shed on this property is located partially on Village property. Jennifer Higgins is working with Shane VanderWaal on drafting a document addressing this issue. The 1-acre parcel would need to be rezoned to SR. Thompson/Freeman M/S to recommend to the Town Board approval of CSM TW 09-02 subject to: a parkland dedication fee, that a statement is included on the face of the CSM regarding the restriction of creating another parcel from the remaining mother parcel, and that the parcel be rezoned to SR. Q/C. Dan Higginbotham will be submitting a new CSM with a statement regarding the restriction of the creation of another parcel.
